Advocate for the Release of Hilda Arellano from Immigration Custody

Advocate for the Release of Hilda Arellano from Immigration Custody
The Issue
Hilda Arellano is not just another statistic in immigration proceedings, she is a human who has lived, worked, and formed a family in Arizona her entire life. She now faces the unimaginable scenario of being torn away from her loved ones due to deportation. Hilda is a beautiful wife, a loving daughter, a compassionate & caring sister, aunt and friend. She is a hard worker & continuously puts her all in any situation she faces or comes across. She gives effortlessly & is always there to lend anyone a hand. Hilda has the hugest heart’s & deserves to come home to her family. As her neighbor, friend, and member of this community, we must rally together to protect this integral part of our society from the harsh consequences of immigration policies.
It is important to remember the essence of our nation – a land that values freedom, diversity and human dignity. According to data from the Department of Homeland Security, as of 2019, there were approximately 10.5 million undocumented immigrants residing in the U.S., of which 3.2 million were from Mexico. Like Hilda, they contribute to our society, to our economy, and to the rich cultural mosaic that makes America unique.
But the numbers don't express the human cost. The anxiety and distress, families split apart, communities disrupted. We stand with Hilda Arellano and call on the immigration authorities to reconsider her ongoing deportation proceedings. By signing this petition, you help get one step closer toward justice and fairness for Hilda. You're lending your voice to the chorus of individuals who believe in justice, fairness, and the inherent dignity of all people. Let's stand with Hilda, both as a symbol of humanity's better angels and as a message to our leaders, that immigration policy should respect the fundamental rights of all individuals. Please support our stand and sign this petition.
