Advocate for the Clean-up and Regulation of American Homeless Shelters

The Issue

Of A Helping Hand Charitable TR was formed on January 10, 2002.  The beginning of our mission was to provide a safe and healthy haven for homeless peoples, domestic violence survivors and abused children of domestic violence parents no matter their race or ethnic background just wanted to make a difference.  Now that years have passed and being a victim of being a targeted individuals in homeless shelters my mission have shifted a little bit.  And what saddens me that homeless shelters across the global are responsible for gang violence, drug dealing, physically rape of women and children, virtual rape, digital rape, cyber stalking, drug overdose and murders are actually taking place in these shelters and are being committed by the staff member and the outsiders the staff members are bringing in to commit these horrific crimes.

As someone who has witnessed the suffering of countless individuals falling victim to criminal acts within homeless shelters, I am moved to act. Our homeless shelters, which should be safe havens for those in need, are instead becoming breeding grounds for crime and corruption. It is a disturbing reality that corrupted owners, staff members and board directors are allowing drug dealers, gang members and cult worshippers to exploit these vulnerable individuals.

These criminals not only physically harm residents but also engage in virtual rape, digital rape, cyber stalking, gang intimidations and verbal threats. The most horrifying part is that some of these crimes even escalate to murder. This is unacceptable.

According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness (2019), on any given night there are over 567 thousand people experiencing homelessness in America. These people deserve better protection from such heinous crimes.

We must demand stricter regulations on homeless shelters across America. We need thorough background checks on all staff members and regular audits of shelter operations by independent bodies. We must ensure that every person seeking refuge at a shelter is treated with dignity and respect.

It's time we stand up against this injustice happening right under our noses in our own communities! Let us be the voice for those who cannot speak up; let us report these atrocities until they cease completely! Please sign this petition today - your signature could save lives tomorrow!
