I am deeply committed to the cause of protecting our planet. Being personally impacted by the detrimental effects of pollution, I feel it's my duty to stand up against this insidious threat. Everyday, we witness bleak symptoms of environmental degradation - polluted rivers, dirty air, smog-ridden cities.

It is a startling fact that as per the World Health Organization, 9 out of 10 people breathe air containing high levels of pollutants ("Air Pollution," WHO). Additionally, environmental pollution causes up to 16% of all deaths worldwide, as clearly indicated in the Lancet Commission on Pollution and Health 2017 report.

With these distressing figures, it's clear that urgent action is required. Despite having rules and regulations in place, they are largely unenforced and need stricter implementation. We cannot afford to stay silent anymore as our planet suffers.

Together we must urge lawmakers to enforce stricter anti-pollution regulations and ensure a healthier living environment for all.
