I would like to inform everyone who signed the petition that a new youth advisory group has been created by Windsor Essex youth hub, which means I no longer need to take action on creating a group but rather joining an already existing one. CAS, Children's aid society of Windsor Essex has also implemented proper youth support systems as of recently and so therefore there is a chance for change for those within the community. Thank you to those who signed this petition, it is with great gratitude I am to share this information and have positive updates from our community. Thank you Windsor Essex, for finally giving us a space to have a voice. I have also recently been informed of an upcoming position as a youth representative for CAS and am further looking into application processes in regards to this position which has been brought to my intention and I have been encouraged to apply to. Thank you to everyone who has shown consistent involvement and concern for the youth in the foster care system, I hope the future brings many more positive changes for our community and everyone involved.
