What happens if we don't support this.
Many more small business will have to default on the loan and will force to go bankrupt.
Then they have to lay off their employees and also not contribute to the economy.
The employees that are laid off not have to collect EI. How much do you think that is.
At the same time since they are on EI, they obviously can't contribute to EI and CPP.
Since their not active employees, they have to stay home.
Meaning they will not support small businesses, even for those coffees that buy on the way to work, the gas that they had to put in their cars, the work clothes that they don't need now.
Who are small business owners?
They have no pension.
They have no medical insurance.
They don't have EI.
They don't have paid vacation.
They don't have sick leave.
they don't have family leave.
they don't have personal day.
They don't have volunteer day.
They don't get paid extra for overtime pay.
most are making very small income.
They collect and pay HST/GST/QST/PST/WSIB, ...
They create jobs.
They contribute to EI
They Contribute to CPP.
They are a huge part of the Canadian economy.
If it is fair to increase government employees salaries which have pension, vacation pay, personal day, volunteer day, overtime pay, sick day, prescription insurance, dental insurance ... Then this 60K hand out should have been just given to them since they spent all of it to support the economy.
Times up,
Pay,
That is not fair.
