As a dedicated Girl Cadet Instructor (GCI) myself, I am deeply affected by the ongoing disparity in pay and limited promotional opportunities in the National Cadet Corps (NCC). This personal experience compels me to call on the Ministry of Defence (MoD), NCC Directorate, and the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) to urgently address these long-standing issues.

Across the country, my fellow GCIs and I dutifully work to shape the future leaders of India, devoting our lives to training and mentoring. Despite our passion and commitment, we are continuously denied well-deserved recognition, professional growth, and fair compensation.
