Make the AHDB withdraw misleading propaganda about the benefits of meat and dairy products

The Issue

The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) has made misleading and factually incorrect statements in an attempt to encourage the eating of red meat and dairy.

These can be seen on their website: https://ahdb.org.uk/WeEatBalanced

and their recent tv advert: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=27&v=d_Ryzpz4eYk&feature=emb_logo

Its website claims "There is a consistent trend that consumers are reducing their red meat and dairy consumption because they believe it is healthier and less harmful to the environment. This is not the case"

The TV advert implies that meat and dairy are needed to "help our bodies stay healthy".

There is a wealth of literature which would suggest this premise is false and the website and advert should at the very least be corrected if not withdrawn.
