Relieved to say Huffington Post updated that the dogs are being taken in by family outside Prince George County. My hope is that the dogs are feeling secure and that the family is not displaced due to the fire. I'm not sure how to go about it, but it would be amazing if a GoFundMe could be started for the family because they lost so much. At this point, I want to continue the fight for the family, but the irrelevance of this ban that split this family needs to end. Families should not be ripped apart because of a ban created based on uninformed fear and stigmas. The goal is to keep families together and to end an age old era of fear unjustly placed on this breed.
