Greetings Fellow Residents of Old Brooklyn & Brooklyn:

     We are in vital need of a change in our Community! Currently many of us are at the manipulative and illegal actions of our utility provider, Cleveland Public Power(CPP). We are requesting the option to change our service providers. 

     We, as a Community of hard-working citizens HAVE HAD ENOUGH of CPP’s illegal activities and terribly sub-par customer service. Often the “processing fees” CPP attaches to our bills are GREATER THAN the amount of ELECTRICITY used!   CPP has thee highest rates of ANY provider in Cuyahoga county.

     When an electrical “emergency” occurs we cannot rely on CPP’s “customer service” to inform us. On a regular day the CSRs are FAILING our Community. CSR’s often do NOT answer our calls but leave us on a CONTINUAL loop of “options”-as they are city workers, I am certain they continue to receive their hourly pay while accomplishing absolutely nothing. The majority of CSRs are unwilling to assist and would rather hang up on a paying customer than remedy the issue. I have personally spent over an HOUR on hold only to have the rude, uncaring(despicable) CSR INTENTIONALLY HANG UP!

     We NEED OPTIONS! The MONOPOLY CPP has MUST end!!! Our voices MUST be HEARD!!! We are PLEADING with Mayor Jackson to allow us a CHOICE!!!! Fellow Citizens, please sign our petition. I will be presenting the information to Mayor Jackson and the various news channels.
