We, the residents of East Boston, are requesting a TRADE/VOCATIONAL school to be built right here, East Boston before all of our land is taken.  

We have been so patient while watching our city being overdeveloped,  airport expansion, rat infestations and traffic the likes of which we have never seen before, just to name a few.  We never asked for any of this but yet we got all of this anyway.  

We NEED a vocational school right here in our own backyard.  Our youth DESERVE it!  Please give us something that we so desperately need on this side of the tunnel.  After all, EAST BOSTON is a part of BOSTON too!!!  

Not all high school students are college material.  These students are left with no job skills after graduation.  They may attain a menial job, at best.  They deserve a promising future just as college bound students do.  The benefits will be endless....I.e. decline in poverty levels, more kids who can fulfill THEIR dreams and contribute positively to society.  Adults wanting to learn a trade (for a small tuition)  can also take advantage of this incredible opportunity.  

PLEASE DON’T FORGET ABOUT US.....we have been forgotten and taken advantage of, over and over again throughout our history and especially in our recent and present one.  Let’s make a positive and meaningful change that will actually make us all happy, for once!!!
