Our university proudly showcases the mascot of a bison - tough, rugged, a symbol of true American grit. Sadly, however, the official mascot of the school is spelled as "Bisons," which is grammatically incorrect. The name was chosen by the students of the 1920s, when "Bisons" was grammatically correct. Times have changed, and a name change is well overdue. Bucknell University is now the Bison. Now it's Harding's time for a name change. Bison, not Bisons.
