Peanut deserves justice! We want to honor his name and help ensure that no innocent squirrel (or animal) meets the same fate. Peanut was unjustly taken from his home, a legal animal shelter, on October 30th, 2024 and euthanized shortly after. Multiple government agencies colluded in this decision as a result of excessive and unlawful oversight, and is a clear example of government tyranny.

In honor of Peanut, we are petitioning for President Trump to adopt a squirrel in need when he comes into office as the 47th President of the United States. This serves not only as an act of solidarity between squirrels and the United States of America, but also gives squirrels proper representation in the nation.

We are calling the future squirrel for adoption Marcy for now, based on the fictitious squirrel that inspired this act of solidarity.

This petition stands for the good of all; not only for squirrels, but all life itself, especially for those who can not stand up to tyranny on their own!
