Adobe Cloud: Stop the monopolistic methods of Adobe. Allow users to own what they pay for.

Adobe users now have no choice. Stop the monopolistic approach of users paying for forever subscriptions only, and owning no rights for what they have paid for. Give us an option for ownership of what we pay for month after month at realistic prices. There is not a need to constantly upgrade with all your latest bells and whistles, on a month to month basis for everyone. There is no other software company that offers all the apps for design pros that Adobe offers. Adobe ate Macromedia and the other competition. By the very nature of their new Cloud subscription only access, they are offering their products on a use it as long as you pay for it basis. If you stop a subscription and try to open your files in a CS6 or older version, they may bear no resemblance to the files you actually created, losing all the CC ugraded effects and plugins. And if you don't have one of these older CS apps...you have NO FILE ACCESS period. I don't know who they are trying to kid. Newbies out of school, or younger start ups who have not invested in pre-cloud Adobe CS apps. are locked in for life to the subscription model...There is no other option or turning back once you start working with clients using Adobe apps. You can no longer download an app and use it independently of Adobe on your computer, unless you continue to pay every month, at the mercy of Adobe to determine what that amount will be. This should not be legal. As loyal Adobe customers for decades, many of us are in an untenable situation of having absolutely no choice, but to be held hostage and at the mercy of Adobe far into the future at whatever rate they choose to charge us.

Please sign this petition to demand that Adobe makes pay to own options available to users, for an additional price if need be. There is no reason this option cannot be downloaded  from the internet just as any subscription users Apps would be that reside on your own hard drive. This was the protocol as it was designed when millions of subscribers bought in to Adobe over the decades. Don't let them stab us in the back now, just so they get more capital inflow and make the investor buy in so their stock goes up That was what one of their directors told an audience this year was a big part of why this was done.  It is not what's best for you and me.
