May 17th, 2018 marks the day of the executive student council elections for Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School.

It also marks the day that many students were competing in the TVRAA track and field competitions. 

Due to this, a large portion of the student body was not able to have their voices heard and was unable to vote for those they wish to be represented by. This is unacceptable, the athlete vote perspective was partially lost.

Many students feel as though this election did not do justice to our democracy, and that there is a lack of adequate representation. Please, if you feel this way, sign this petition for another vote to be done, and have your voice be heard. An election is needed where the students' voices and opinions will be valued.
