Adjust Raymond James Stadium bag policy for BTS concert

Adjust Raymond James Stadium bag policy for BTS concert
The Issue
Attending a BTS concert should be an amazing experience, one filled with joy and the music we love. For me, however, it also requires careful preparation due to my multiple medical needs. I need to carry several items, including medications, extra batteries, and other essential supplies to manage my health and ensure my safety. Unfortunately, due to the strict bag policy at Raymond James Stadium, I am unable to carry the necessary storage to accommodate these items, putting me and many others at risk during the concert.
Currently, the stadium's rules restrict the size and type of bags that concert-goers can bring inside, currently it is at 4.5x6.5 or the size of a small clutch. While I understand and appreciate the need for security measures, the existing policy proves to be problematic for those who rely on specific items to address medical emergencies, potential health issues, or even personal needs. These restrictions create unnecessary stress and could turn a positive experience into a daunting one.
A simple 2 inch adjustment (6.5 x 8.5) to the bag policy could ensure safety and security without compromising our health or the overall concert experience.
According to research done by the ADA National Network, public venues should make accommodations for individuals with disabilities or medical needs to promote inclusivity and accessibility. Other major venues have successfully implemented similar policies to accommodate diverse needs while maintaining security standards.
By modifying the current bag policy at Raymond James Stadium for the upcoming BTS concert, we can create an environment that ensures safety for those with medical requirements, and allows all fans to enjoy the event without undue concerns. Let's urge the stadium and event organizers to show compassion and adaptability, so everyone can enjoy the music without worrying about their well-being.
Join me in asking Raymond James Stadium to adjust their bag policy for this event. Sign this petition and let’s make this concert truly inclusive and accessible for all!
