Over the last decade the current administration of the Adelaide Football Club has taken the club from a powerhouse to middle of the road, with a number of questionable and poorly planned changes.

As a result of poor management practices, the club was recently heavily sanctioned by the governing body of the competition, the AFL.

 The clubs response to this significant infraction was to retain all participants of initial breach and the subsequent cover up, ensuring that no details to the deal or negotiations to the penalties were ever released to the members, this despite the heavy cost the club bore as a result of their actions.

 The breach of AFL rules included actions by CEO of the club, which were ultimately supported by the Board.

 As a result of these actions we believe the current CEOs role should be vacated immediately and an independent review of the board and its structure completed.

 We believe, that with independence, the club needs to be re-established with a member focus and this should be reflected in the board structure moving forward.
