We have gotten the vaccines, worn the masks and scrambled to get boosted. We've also paid the money to be taught in person, not behind a computer screen. We don't deny the virus is real and dangerous. But the need to attend classes, engage with other students and learn face to face is also real. The masks we wear and the booster shots we have gotten are real as well, and we believe they work. Finally, the money we have invested in acquiring housing and paying for an expensive college education is most certainly real. We did not pay to sit behind a computer screen while our college experience fades out of existence. We sign this petition in hopes that SDSU will reverse its decision to move classes online.
