The collapse of the controversial truce between the government of Pakistan and the Taliban in Swat, and a broadening military offensive in the north-west, have created a humanitarian crisis in Pakistan. According to military officials and international refugee agencies, the number of people who have fled fighting has increased to more than 1 million. Prime Minister Gilani has already appealed to the world for help. Please join us for a discussion on the current situation as well as on what Pakistan and the world can and must do to respond.
