Petition update and upcoming health scrutiny meeting

Hi everyone, sorry it's been a while between updates!

Counsellor Andrew Scopes has arranged for LTHT to attend a scrutiny meeting regarding maternity and gynecology services. One of the items on the agenda is the endometriosis service. 

A huge thank you to Sam, Abbie and Fran from menstrual health support Leeds and endo UK Leeds group for recently facilitating a meeting with the heads of service at LTHT. The meeting was very positive and they plan to draft a statement to be sent to the CEO outlining what changes we would like to see happen, many of which are the same as the ones in the petition. I will post separately about this on another update. 

In regards to the petition this is still open for signatures and we are awaiting endo UK policy manager to look over a first draft of a letter to the CEO that we will be asking MPs to co-sign, this will be separate to the statement that is being drafted but will cover many of the same points and all the items covered on the petition page details and will hopefully demonstrate clear public support for the changes and investment needed for the service. So please keep those signatures coming in!
