The Issue

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the upcoming art exhibition featuring Theresa Foley (aka Lucie Blakk) at Raccoon Studios / Arts In The Right Place, Sheffield, scheduled to open on 15th June 2025 (originally due to end on 21st June, now extended).

We believe this exhibition poses significant risk to the safety and well-being of the Sheffield Community, particularly its youth and other vulnerable individuals, not only because of the artist involved, but also due to the broader harm the content may cause to a global audience.

Background:

Theresa Foley has a documented history of abusive behavior directed at YUNGBLUD (aka Dominic Harrison), as well as his supporters, particularly young individuals.

Despite numerous efforts to address and challenge this behaviour, Foley continues to act in ways that contradict the values of inclusivity, safety, child protection, and mutual respect.

Our Concerns:

Targeted Harassment.
This exhibition appears to be a tool for ongoing harassment of YUNGBLUD, his family, his team, and the positive community he fosters.

Support of this exhibition will escalate an established pattern of targeted, harmful behaviour that is both inappropriate and unacceptable.

Safety Risks.
We are concerned about the potential psychological and emotional harm this exhibition may cause, especially to young attendees and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Theresa Foley has a history of inappropriate conduct with young people and has publicly shared harmful, homophobic, and transphobic views.

Betrayal of Community Values.
Raccoon Studios / Arts In The Right Place promotes itself as a safe and inclusive space, particularly for marginalized communities.

Hosting this exhibition fundamentally undermines that mission and risks eroding public trust.

We Urge the Following:

Cancellation of the Exhibition.

We respectfully request that Raccoon Studios / Arts In The Right Place reconsider its support for this exhibition in light of the concerns raised.

Transparent Communication.

We ask for a clear and public response from Company Directors Eleanor Kate Rands (Parsons) and Benjamin Rands and ask you to uphold your commitment to community safety and inclusivity.

We stand together in calling for accountability, compassion, and responsible curation.

This petition is a call to protect and uphold the values your venue claims to represent.

Your support can make a difference.
