However, the recent trend of arbitrary account bans enforced by AI algorithms without any human oversight or support is becoming increasingly detrimental. Currently, there is only AI support for those who pay for Meta's premium subscription services, sending people in loops with no real solutions or answers. This is causing thousands across the US to take it up with small claims court to get any help at all.

It is imperative that lawmakers in Florida step in to address this unlawful and damaging practice. We need new regulations that ensure transparency, due process, and the presence of human oversight in moderation decisions on digital platforms. Specifically, Meta should be required to provide real human customer support and clearer paths for appeals and recovering accounts.
