At Hansraj College, the everyday struggle of managing our class schedules, finding proper classrooms, and accessing essential facilities disrupts our academic experience. For example the students of 4 semester GE Hindi B classes, finding a suitable room to accommodate the average strength is a recurring challenge. Too often, we end up crammed into small spaces, or worse, face room collapses, interrupting our learning and preparation.

Moreover, the existing time table often leads us to wait for extended periods between classes, sometimes up to 3-4 hours for just one class. This results in an unproductive day, affecting both our academic progress and personal well-being. Besides, the importance of extracurricular activities and society events cannot be understated. However, when attendance isn't given for these engagements, it not only disrespects the speakers but can also tarnish our college's reputation.

The infrastructure issue extends to ongoing construction at our two main gates. The delay in their completion has cost us significant time and caused unnecessary inconvenience as we navigate alternative routes, impacting our daily schedules.

Additionally, we urgently need clean and better-maintained washrooms to meet good hygiene standards as per our college reputation.

Transparency and cooperation in arranging student-led events are also lacking. Permissions for hosting events at appropriate venues often get bogged down in administrative hurdles, curtailing our opportunities for holistic development.

We believe these are critical issues that need immediate attention from the college administration. We propose:

1. Expediting the completion of the main gate constructions to facilitate smoother access.
2. Reevaluating the current time table to optimize class schedules and reduce idle hours.
3. Allocating classrooms proportionate to the number of students enrolled.
4. Ensuring proper acknowledgment and attendance for society event participation.
5. Improving the hygiene and maintenance of washroom facilities.
6. Streamlining the process for event permissions to encourage student initiative.
7. Establishing a transparent system where students are informed and consulted on decisions affecting their academic and extracurricular engagements.
