We, the undersigned residents of Fate TX, are writing to formally express our shared concern regarding a 5G telecommunications tower recently erected or operating within close proximity to our homes. Based on available technical information, this tower is reported to be emitting an Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of approximately 68,400 watts at 3700 MHz—a power level that significantly exceeds typical 5G infrastructure and may pose a serious public health risk.

This power output far surpasses what is standard for consumer telecommunications and may result in RF radiation exposure beyond the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)’s established Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) limit of 10 W/m² for the general public. Given the proximity of this tower to homes, schools, parks, and other occupied spaces, we are alarmed by the potential for thermal and non-thermal biological effects—particularly with long-term exposure.

As concerned citizens, we collectively request the following:

Immediate RF Exposure Testing: An independent and third-party evaluation to measure RF radiation at multiple points around the tower and in nearby homes and common areas.
Disclosure of Compliance Documentation: Release of all RF safety reports, FCC certification documents, and equipment specifications provided by the telecommunications carrier.
Public Hearing or Council Review: A transparent review involving the community, city council, and zoning board to evaluate the risks and determine appropriate action.
Risk Mitigation: Should the findings show that radiation exceeds legal or safe exposure levels, we request immediate mitigation steps, including power reduction, shielding, or relocation of the tower to a non-residential area.
