Recently, I took the step to return to Jackson from another school, filled with enthusiasm to immerse myself in both academics and athletics. Like many students before me, my intention was to prosper within this supportive community and to represent our school with pride and dedication.

Today, however, I face a predicament I had not anticipated. Despite acting in ways similar to my peers, I have been subjected to disproportionately harsh consequences.
