The Issue

I am a student NIOS and I think I should not take my study center name, and I'm reaching out to bring attention to a severe issue that affects us all. Recently, I encountered a shocking situation where my study center teachers demanded 1000 rupees per subject to pass the practical exams, and in the exam center, I was asked to pay 3000 rupees per subject for the answers to exam questions. This blatant corruption is not only unfair but deeply disheartening for dedicated students like me who wish to pursue their education honestly.

I want that NIOS should take any action and reduce admission fees and all , and revaluation fees should be reduced

The National Institute Of Open Schooling (NIOS) is supposed to be a sanctuary for students seeking flexible and accessible education. However, this corruption undermines the entire premise of open schooling by creating a pay-to-pass environment. It challenges the integrity of NIOS and tarnishes the qualifications that students earn through hard work and dedication.

Corruption in educational institutions is a grave injustice. It affects students nationwide, many of whom are struggling financially to afford their education and hope for a better future. The demand for bribes places an unfair burden on honest families and students who simply wish to gain knowledge and contribute positively to society.

We must hold NIOS accountable to ensure that their educational institutions are free from corruption and fully support deserving students. I urge the Ministry of Education to conduct a transparent investigation into these practices within the NIOS system and implement strict measures against individuals found guilty of such activities.

Establishing a corruption-free zone within educational institutions is crucial for nurturing genuine learning and fostering a merit-based system where students can thrive free from the stress of financial exploitation. Institute regular audits across all centers, offer a confidential channel for students to report unethical behavior, and train staff members in integrity and ethical practices.

Let's make a change for ourselves and future generations and restore integrity to our educational systems. Your support can lead to the eradication of corruption in NIOS. Please sign this petition to demand immediate action against these corrupt practices in education. Together, we can create a fair and equitable learning environment for all.
