Concerns about Principal James's behavior are growing among the St. Sabina’s Catholic School community in Chicago, IL. Many parents, guardians, and students have experienced her bullying tactics, which compromise the nurturing environment that the school aims to foster. 

Our family, alongside numerous other parents, has observed multiple instances when the principal's behavior has fostered a hostile atmosphere. Instead of encouraging open communication and understanding, she often employs intimidation, leading to feelings of exclusion among students, their families and staff.

An off-duty Chicago police officer, who is also her spouse, has been appointed as her armed security guard. This, the Archdiocese school rules and regulations and various other tools she uses to bully her way or no way is dangerous to all on many levels.

It is imperative that educational leaders embody qualities of empathy, respect, and kindness—qualities that seem to be significantly lacking in this situation under this principal’s watch. Educational institutions should function as safe spaces for learning and growth, where all participants feel acknowledged, respected and fair treatment going both ways.

By implementing accountability measures for the principal with her REMOVAL as St. Sabina’s principal who , perform impartial evaluations of leadership conduct, removal of staff with her bullying ultimatums , bullying of students and parents will correct the relationship between St. Sabina school and its community.

We urge the school board, The Archdiocese, BigShoulders foundation to  investigate these issues and take appropriate actions to protect the well-being of the St. Sabina community. Consider signing the petition to help transform St. Sabina school into a more supportive environment for future generations.
