Residents from the communities of Skyview Ranch, Redstone, Cityscape, and Cornerstone are submitting this petition to request for a cell tower in the northern part of Calgary NE.

The signals in this area are very poor which has been causing multiple challenges in communications for several years. Residents have not received any infrastructure updates from the past 8 years in spite of several requests. 

The current tower cannot handle the high load of users network traffic. Residents experience decrease in data rate and cellular network coverage due to which we have call drops, call congest, and packet loss of message delivery.

The above-mentioned communities have thousands of multi-generational families with lots of seniors and children. The lack of signal presents many challenges when seniors need to connect with their adult children for emergency services.

We hope that our request for an additional cell tower is considered on a priority basis by the Authorities in charge of this issue.
