Yesterday, May 1st l, my baby brother Christian Lanear and light to this world fell victim to a fatal car accident on Jefferson entering Grain Valley. A road commonly known to be dangerous and unsettling to drive on. 

The mayor commented on a post I made stating that they had been in conversations with MODOT that could possibly lead to the improvement of Jefferson as it is a state owned road. Along with that said that if we wanted to really push for a change that we the people needed to push for this change.

I don’t want my brother, Christian’s death to be in vain and I want to see a change to this road. I want guard rails, I want expanded shoulders, I want safety. I don’t want ANYONE else to go through what my family and I are going through right now. I WANT CHANGE.
