We will be meeting with President Santa Ono in early August to present a vision for the Sustainability priority under the University's new strategic plan, UBC's Next Century. This strategic plan will guide the University's priorities, values and decisions over the next decade and offers a valuable opportunity for student input into UBC's future sustainability leadership.

As students committed to addressing climate change, restoring ecological resilience, and promoting environmental justice, we recognize that global environmental challenges require bold visions, rapid innovation and extensive collaboration. We are calling on UBC to demonstrate global leadership in environmental, social and economic sustainability through five action areas: Student Engagement, Research, Campus Operations, Finances and Justice. Sign to show your support for the inclusion of these action areas in the Sustainability priority of UBC's strategic plan.
