As plant based diets are becoming more and more popular, it is time for major food suppliers to support their consumers. Not only vegans desire more plant based options. Meat Free Monday is proof of this with masses of followers.

We are already witnessing an increase in stocking vegan products, such as vegan mayo and vegan pesto, which is amazing. The next step is to make finished plant based meals available to the consumer.

As someone who lives a vegan lifestyle, I've found it more and more difficult to grab lunch on the go or buy a ready meal for a quick dinner without my choices being extremely limited. Most sandwiches contain mayonnaise or yoghurt, and ready meals contain unnecessary butter.
Even if you can find a falafel wrap or a salad, we all want a bit of diversity.

There are vegan ready meals available from suppliers, for example Amy's Kitchen and Fry's but the supermarkets just don't stock them. Urban Eat provide a vegan sandwich option. Small substitutions could easily make some meals vegan. Having an additional plant based option would give everyone more choice!

Every supermarket I have emailed on this point has told me that they "require more demand" to make vegan choices more visible. So, let's show them that demand!
