Despite its wide reach, Punjabi is not yet available as an audio or subtitle option on prominent streaming platforms like Netflix and Disney+. This is an oversight that needs rectifying. We demand Netflix and Disney+ to respect the cultural diversity of their global audience by adding Punjabi to the available languages for audio and subtitles. This will vastly improve accessibility for Punjabi speakers in India, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Canada, America and around the rest of the globe. Inclusion should not stop at visual representation; linguistic inclusion is equally important.
