Add New Stones + Projects by Everton Way West Stand for Complete Honour of Goodison Park.

Add New Stones + Projects by Everton Way West Stand for Complete Honour of Goodison Park.
The Issue
I, a lifelong Everton fan, am starting this petition purely because of my steadfast admiration for the Grand Old Stadium of Goodison Park and its distinguished heritage. It is a heritage shared by countless others - the 36,572 dedicated fans of the blue faithful who fill the stadium on match days, bringing their energy and passion with them.
Goodison Park, home ground of Everton Football Club, has a capacity of 39,572 with 36,572 forming the home section.
To honor this figure, 36,000 stones were added to Everton Way South Stand, each one a testament to our support and love for the club.
However, there remains a gap - of at least 572 stones. This isn't just about meeting a figure, it's about honouring the true home capacity of our beloved stadium, and also giving the fans who missed out on the initial runs a chance to contribute to another meaningful project.
Adding these final 572 stones is more than a gesture. It's about heritage and history, it's about fundraising towards the club we adore, but most importantly, it's about commemorating the Goodison Park capacity completely fully and fairly.
The extra stones would simply form a new small section to be added by the West Stand and work would be very rapidly completed over the 2 week Autumn International break.
West Stand Idea with 572+ stones along yellow black dot sections
As of May 2025, the West Stand facing the river mersey still remains quite bare and it is important to develop it further to enhance club and fan integrity with new stone ways and more.
Please, sign this petition now to add one final batch of 572 small stones to Everton Way, thereby bringing the number up to the cherished home fan capacity figure of Goodison Park. In doing so, we will enhance the heritage of Everton FC, acknowledging the deep-rooted tradition and the steadfast loyalty of supporters. Let's ensure the Grand Old Stadium is accorded the respect and recognition it deserves. Sign this petition, and let's make history together.
Thank you.
