In North Carolina: Holly Springs, Apex, and Cary all have a lack of sidewalks, bike lanes, and crosswalks. This makes it very difficult to travel safely from one place to another and makes it hard for people who do not have a car to get around town and younger people who do not have a driver’s license to be able to safely walk/bike to school. Adding bike lanes would help prevent traffic congestion and make cycling in our area safer.
