As members of the Orlando community and avid beach volleyball enthusiasts, we kindly petition for the inclusion of additional beach volleyball courts at Festival Park in Orlando.

Current Situation: Festival Park currently houses four beach volleyball courts, which have become a hub for community engagement, physical activity, and sportsmanship for residents and visitors alike. These courts are regularly occupied, highlighting the growing demand and appreciation for beach volleyball in the area.

Proposal: We propose the addition of at least two more beach volleyball courts in the park. There is a grass lot on the north side of the park, which presents an ideal location for these additional courts. Expanding the courts here will not only make use of the existing space but also enhance the overall appeal and functionality of the park.

Financial Consideration: We understand that there is $825,000 earmarked for the redevelopment of the larger Festival Park area. A portion of these funds can be allocated to the creation of the new courts, ensuring that the park continues to meet the evolving needs and preferences of the Orlando community.
