I am starting this to have healthcare security guards added to the pandemic pay list.

We often work in the background of hospitals and other healthcare facilities. It might be our job to be behind the scenes but why don't we deserve the same incentive during this time as everyone else working in healthcare.

We are the ones called when the patients, visitors, or anyone else on the property are causing any kind of issue. We are also the ones who respond to all emergencies in the facility without hesitation. Yes proper PPE is provided but often times we don't have the time to get the full PPE on as it could be a life or death scenario.

I understand that we are hired on to be the invisible support in the facilities we are hired at but with that being said we are also the ones who could easily get exposure to this virus as we are often interacting with the public and patients whom could be COVID positive.
