Add Fortnite Servers to South Africa

The Issue

Every day, thousands of Fortnite players in South Africa queue into matches with over 150ms ping. It’s not just lag. It’s an invisible wall. Our builds place late, our edits don’t register, and we lose fights we should’ve won. Whether it’s casual players, competitive grinders, or young creators trying to grow, we’re all playing at a disadvantage. No matter how much we love the game, we’re left behind.

If nothing changes, we’ll continue to suffer in silence. Talented players will burn out. Content creators will move on. The South African Fortnite community filled with energy, creativity, and potential will stay in the shadows while others thrive. But if Epic adds local servers? That changes everything. Competitive play becomes fair. New stars rise. More players join. Fortnite grows in an entire new region.

The tech is there. AWS has data centers in South Africa. Other games have already taken the leap. Valorant, Rocket League, even mobile games like Call of Duty. Fortnite, one of the biggest games in the world, should be leading, not lagging. We've waited long enough. The time to act is now! We’re not just asking for better ping. We’re asking to be treated equally. To be seen. To be heard. Help us bring Fortnite servers to South Africa.
