Apologies for the delays in updates, but things are moving fast and we are working hard on our bill.

Our bills HB 287 and SB 294 have successfully passed the first 2 subcommittees with unanimous support! We are so grateful to the community members who came out to testify, waive in support and cheer for our bill.
We have made huge strides since last year and I am hopeful for the passing of this bill in Florida this year! We currently have bipartisan support with 31 co sponsors in the House and 13 in the Senate. This is due to the hard work of our team who have been meeting and calling legislators over the past few months. Thank you so much!
What's next?
- We have 2 more committees in both the House and Senate to get through.
- The House and Senate Floor will vote on the bill
- The governor will decide to either sign the bill into law or veto the bill
