Add Alligator Skin to Fortnite

Add Alligator Skin to Fortnite
The Issue
Fortnite thrives on creativity, unique character skins, and crossover appeal that connect with both pop culture and gaming communities. An alligator skin—whether animated and cartoonish or realistic and fierce—fills a gap in Fortnite’s skin lineup for several reasons:
Originality & Theme Diversity
Fortnite already has animals like wolves, sharks, fish, bears, dinosaurs, and even dragons—but there’s no iconic reptilian predator like the alligator. Adding an alligator skin would stand out instantly, appealing to players who love dangerous, primal, or swamp-inspired aesthetics.
Cultural Recognition
The alligator is an iconic creature, especially in U.S. culture (Florida, Louisiana, Everglades, bayou legends, and even sports mascots). Fortnite thrives when it taps into recognizable cultural symbols, and an alligator would resonate worldwide as a fierce and fun addition.
Customization & Animation Potential
A realistic version could look menacing with glowing eyes, armored scales, and snapping jaw animations.
An animated/cartoon version could bring a fun, light-hearted vibe, similar to Fishstick or Peely, making it flexible across Fortnite’s playful and serious skins.
Reactive features (tail movement, glowing scales when eliminating enemies, snapping jaws as emotes) could make it one of the most dynamic skins in the game.
Perfect Fit for Existing Seasons & Themes
Whether tied into a jungle/swamp biome, a creature/hunt season, or even a collab with survival or adventure franchises, an alligator skin works naturally with Fortnite’s rotating storylines.
Marketability & Community Demand
Unique animal skins often become fan favorites and sell extremely well (see: Fishstick, Meowscles, Dino skins). An alligator would be another highly marketable character with endless potential for alternate styles (albino gator, cyber-gator, cartoon gator king, etc.).
Bottom line: An alligator skin is needed because it’s unique, culturally iconic, versatile for both fun and serious designs, and has massive creative and commercial potential. It would be a fresh addition that Fortnite’s community would instantly latch onto.
