In Albania, we want the same opportunity.

Right now, many Albanian business owners are forced to open companies in other countries just to use Stripe. Others have to use complicated solutions that cost more money and create legal and technical problems. Some people even give up on their ideas because they cannot access simple and reliable payment tools.

This is about equal opportunity.

Albania is now part of SEPA, the Single Euro Payments Area. The integration of local commercial banks is almost fully completed. Our banking system is aligned with European standards and cross border euro transfers are already supported.

This means the financial infrastructure is ready.

Albania has a growing tech community. We have talented developers, creative founders and ambitious young people who want to build global products. We work with international clients and we are part of the digital economy. But without Stripe, we are limited.
