DHS lacks employment/jobs and shopping as a whole. We need to grow as other cities in the Coachella Valley and having a Walmart Super store would bring 150 new jobs and much needed revenue and possibly other new businesses for our City. Why should we have to spent money on gas driving 10 miles or more to shop in other Cities like Palm Springs and Palm Desert,when Walmart  has already purchased land here in DHS,just waiting to get the green light to start building here. I feel it would be a great loss to our City if people in DHS reject this proposal . That's why I am appealing to all the citizens,Mayor and coucilmen in DHS to VOTE YES! Adam Sanchez Mayor and councilmen of Desert Hot Springs CA.
