VICTORY!! And thank you to the Jervis bay fishing club

I have huge news:

Jervis Bay Game Fishing Club have released a statement committing to ending shark killing and moving away from shark fishing. 
I applaud their responsiveness and leadership and highly recommend you send them a message of thanks and support.

They will influence other local fishing clubs, and hopefully shark fishing and killing competitions will be a relic of history. 

Going forward we will approach the other game fishing clubs in NSW and request a similar commitment.  We will also continue to lobby politicians to introduce law on the killing of endangered and threatened sharks.

People power and a will to protect our ecosystems does work.  Keep fighting!
