We have to use this momentum and publicity to push hard for a change in the law.  Shark killing competitions are abhorrent and must end.  The killing of shark species rated as threatened and endangered is also something that should be banned and legally enforced.

Remember this is not a one off - there are multiple game fishing competitions in NSW.  Below is a photo of another tiger shark killed by fishermen in Port Hacking this year.  Multiple sharks were slaughtered.
