I am writing to advocate and encourage the prosecution London Miner of Boise for animal abuse.  Miner punched her non-aggresive dog repeatedly while wearing boxing gloves as evidenced by a video of the incident posted on social media.  The community of Boise should demonstrate that such actions are illegal and will not be tolerated by prosecuting this woman for the offense.  The public  has voiced concern that this will not happen because Miner is the daughter of a police officer.  So the perceived integrity of the prosecutor's office is at issue here as well as the rights of domestic animals. 

This dog was a helpless victim, physically assaulted for no apparent reason other than the amusement of Miner and her friends and exploited by the video posted of the incident.  Despite being mistreated, the dog did nothing to defend itself, allowing the abuse rather than attack a person.  Miner took full advantage of this. This type of behavior is likely to continue unless something is done to indicate it won't be tolerated.  There are laws to prevent the abuse of animals but they are only useful if they are enforced.  Please take this issue seriously.  Such senseless violence and blatant disregard for animal rights is an affront to the community and a black mark on Boise.
