It is sad to admit, but the UN does not fulfill its functions.

Some of the main principles and goals of the UN are:

1) maintain global peace and security

2) promote the well-being of the people of the world

3) achievement of goals through international and friendly cooperation

Opinions on these principles.

1) failed; there were no decisive actions against ecocide or genocide in Ukraine. Now the nuclear danger is becoming more and more acute, and no measures are being taken to prevent it.

2) failed; are we talking about all people or about some special ones?

Currently, the flooded regions of Ukraine, as a result of Russians undermining the Kakhovka HPP, needed and need URGENT help, evacuation of people; the local population tries to save each other on their own, but the Russian terrorists either forbid them to do so or shoot at them. The UN limited itself, as it often happens, to concern and found time to think. And, apparently, the Russian military does not allow UN staff to the left bank of the Dnipro to conduct their investigations. What do you mean they won't let you in? What is your strength then, UN? How are you going to maintain peace and security in the world if you don't have the power to do so? Moreover, one of your participants allegedly does not allow you to act. Can't you tell him by majority vote how he should behave?

3) Maybe you are doing something useful here. Unfortunately, we are probably talking about times when there are no wars.

You are concerned about global warming, but you react rather sluggishly to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP, the consequences of which will be on a global scale. Pollution of the Black Sea and pollution of the coasts of several countries has begun, a huge drought will begin, due to which the vegetation that absorbs carbon dioxide will decrease, a huge amount of fauna has already died and will die soon, there is already a shortage of water for a large number of people. Looks like this principle has failed too.

The population of Ukraine does not really understand the function of the UN, which has grandiose slogans and is supposed to bring order and harmony to the world.

Obviously some changes are needed.

Is it time to change the membership of the organization? Of course, remove the Russian Federation from there.

Is it possible to change the general secretary?

Do we need some other organization that will monitor the actions of the UN?

Or is it just easier to stop the activities of the UN and create a new one, the tasks and values of which will be more relevant and flexible?

Як не сумно визнавати, але ООН не виконує своїх функцій.

Деякі з основних принципів і цілей ООН:

1) підтримувати глобальний мир і безпеку

2) сприяти добробуту людей у світі

3) досягнення цілей через міжнародне та дружнє співробітництво

Думки щодо цих принципів.

1) провалено; не було рішучих дій проти екоциду чи геноциду в Україні; ні до, ні після. Зараз ядерна небезпека стає дедалі гострішою, а заходів для її запобігання не вживається.

2) провалено; ми говоримо про всіх людей чи про якихось окремих?

Наразі затоплені регіони України, внаслідок підриву росіянами Каховської ГЕС, потребували і потребують ТЕРМІНОВОЇ допомоги, евакуації людей; місцеве населення самостійно намагається врятувати одне одного, але російські терористи або забороняють це робити, або стріляють по них. ООН обмежується, як це часто буває, хвилюванням і взяла час подумати. І, нібито, російські військові не допускають співробітників ООН на лівий берег Дніпра для проведення своїх розслідувань. Що означає, що вони вас не допускають? А в чому тоді Ваша сила, ООН? Як ви збираєтеся підтримувати мир і безпеку у світі, якщо у вас немає для цього сили? Більше того, один із ваших учасників нібито не дає вам діяти. Хіба ви не можете сказати йому більшістю голосів, як йому поводитися?

3) можливо, ви робите тут щось корисне. На жаль, ми, напевно, говоримо про часи, коли немає війн.

Ви стурбовані глобальним потеплінням, але досить мляво реагуєте на підрив Каховської ГЕС, наслідки якого будуть мати глобальний масштаб. Почалось забруднення Чорного моря, забруднення узбережжя кількох країн, йде величезна посуха, через яку зменшиться рослинність, яка поглинає вуглекислий газ, загинула і ще загине величезна кількість фауни, вже виникла нестача води для великої кількості людей. Схоже, слідування цьому принципу теж провалено.

Населення України не дуже розуміє функцію ООН, яка має грандіозні гасла і має наводити порядок і сприяти гармонії у світі.

Вочевидь, потрібні деякі зміни.

Чи не настав час змінити склад організації? Звичайно, прибрати звідти РФ.

Чи є можливість зміни генсека?

Чи потрібна якась інша організація, яка буде стежити за діями ООН?

Чи не простіше припинити діяльність ООН і створити нову організацію, завдання та цінності якої будуть більш актуальними та гнучкими?
