The Problem:

It has become extremely clear that Activision cares more about the bottom line than the loyal player base they created over time starting over a decade ago. Black Ops 4 has become they most expensive Call of Duty game of all time in order to access all the content. A base game that costs $60 plus a $50 season pass then a time-based tier system that doesn’t reward gameplay, a shop, then reserves with exclusive content is inexcusable, immoral, and flat out uncalled for. You can either put in hours upon hours of gameplay in order to not even get 1/4 of the content available, or spend thousands on thousands of dollars just to get duplicates in reserves.

The Solution:

  • Make it so weapons can be EARNED. Preferably through challenges, and in the case or black ops 4... black ops pass owners should get immediate access to weapons and other content.
  • If reserves aren’t removed, at least don’t make it so we get duplicates.
  • Items such as face paints, camos, charms, uniforms, and reactive camos should NOT be pieced out for every character and weapon.
  • Activi$ion still has to make some money... it’s a business after all. Keep micro transactions in the shop, that way we know what we are buying and how much it will cost up front. Put items like camos, emotes, jump packs, charm packs, and exclusive outfits in the shop. People will buy those if effort is put into them, look at Fortnite.
  • Season Passes have to go, and if not... at least make them more rewarding and don’t lock maps that split the player base up behind them. (Rumored this way for MW) If a new season pass is introduced, make it so buying that gives you access to all of the content for the game, pieced out over time so you have a reason to come back.

These are just a few examples of what improvements can be made that would benefit the community. The list goes on I’m sure. The Call of Duty Community is fed up with Activision digging deeper and deeper into our pockets every time new content is added into our games. In addition to signing the petition, people need to stop buying COD points. After all, that’s the best way to hurt Activision and fuel change.
