Take a look at the newest Spongebob games. You constantly see how people hate them, and for one reason. They are terrible compared to the old Spongebob games such as Battle For Bikini Bottom and the Spongebob Movie game. These games were made by Heavy Iron Studios. Ever since THQ lost the license to Spongebob to Activision, every single Spongebob game has been mediocre at it's best.

Also, take a look at Heavy Iron's Facebook page. People constantly ask Heavy Iron to make a new Spongebob game but they cannot. They clearly want to as they have liked multiple comments suggesting this. Heavy Iron recieves hate on a daily basis because of Activision making these bad games out of something that has lots of potential.

From a personal standpoint, "Spongebob Squarepants: Battle For Bikini Bottom" was my first video game. To see Activision destroying the franchise like this is terrible. "Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge" was supposed to be a sequel to this game, but also was alright at it's best moments. Many fans, including myself, were very disappointed to see Spongebob Squarepants being treated like this.
