Join Scenic Houston & Scenic Texas in opposing HB 2806 by Rep. Terry Canales set for a hearing tomorrow, March 29, 2023, in the House Transportation Committee.

This bill allows billboard companies to erect billboards in our communities without any input from surrounding residents, even if the community has previously said no to new billboards. This bill also allows billboard companies to raise billboards to unlimited heights and angle them over roadways, increasing distraction and danger for drivers. Even more, billboards may relocate next to an existing property or planned development, potentially blocking businesses and properties who will have no voice or "visibility rights."
