An 8lb Yorkie that was named Lily by her rescuers was viciously brutalized in Miami Beach.  She suffered horrifically after being mercilesly choked, beaten, and stomped on by a sadistically cruel and evil person.  The law states that this a third-degree felony animal cruelty charge, punishable by up to five years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.  This is a case that not only merits the full extent of our laws punishment, but also merits a reform indicating a much more severe sentencing for animal murderers.
