We're looking at some of the warmest and coldest temps of this winter over the weekend with Highs in the mid 50s on Saturday and rapidly falling below freezing on Sunday, so plan ahead if you are traveling this weekend⁵.
And now for the 10 year forecast²: We can expect these trends of continously breaking records at both ends of the thermeter. As heat domes continue to bubble up around the Northwest region and migrate across country, expect more and longer lasting severe heat warnings.
Please take extra precautions.
Remain indoors in AC if at all possible During power brown outs and black outs from the worsening power shortages, the coolest room will likely be the basent or lowest level of your home and far away from windows and doors.
Water bans will be going into effect in whay remains of California and most of the Western Umited States, from now through the next century. We're looking at record High temperatures next decade
If you must be outdoors during a heat emergency, be sure to bring your umbrella and wear sun reflective and insect protective clothing. Do not wear sunscreen as it will interfere with your body's natural cooling process and possibly induce heat sickness. Be sure to wear thick sedition shoes and heat resistant gloves as pavent temperature can exceed 180 degrees and cause 3rd degree burns in a matter of seconds.¹
Due to poor air quality and dense clouds of insects, take bottled air with you to help you. Be sure to limit your outdoor exposure to no more than 1 or 2 hours to avoid heat sickness and death.
Today's insect forecast remains very high with swarming locusts, biting flies, and mosquitoes. However we expect the locusts to clear within a few days after they have destroyed all trees and crops and move Eastward.
But, enjoy the warmth while you can. Gas and oil prices continue to surge at a time when sub-zero flash freezes are occurring with great regularity.
For those of you migrating South in 2050 to avoid the dangerous cold, expect to pay $12.19 per gallon at the pump⁴. Those that plan to fly, expect to pay $997 to $3480 for the cheapest one-way tickets depending on your destination.
As we near 2080³, the world's natural gas, oil and coal reserves are expected to completely run out.
