Attention Eagles, Wednesday, January 17th at 8:55 we will be hosting a walkout against weather conditions. After the first passing period we will not be going to class and instead sitting in the hallways. This is not even about skipping school at this point. It’s about the health and safety of other students. Kids are walking to school in freezing conditions without jackets or proper clothing. Every other district in a 100 mile radius is out of school except us. LISD needs to know that we will not stand for this kind of treatment and that we as students have a voice as well. It may seem scary to do such a big thing like this but it will have an impact later on.
